7 Provocative Locations for a Quickie

Have sex! Wait, what if you don't have much time? We're all busy people – running from chore to chore, job to job – life's hectic. But a tight schedule is no reason to miss out on some lusty, spontaneous interaction with your partner. Sometimes, all you need is a few minutes – maybe less. GetLusty is all about a passionate quickie from time to time, but let's make it a bit more interesting. GetLusty for Couples writer Grace Mary has 8 sexy location ideas for a salacious quickie.

* * *

‘Hectic’ and ‘busy’ are two words which describe nearly everyone’s life. So how is it possible to keep your sex-life alive and burning hot when your datebook is packed enough for three people? Quickies might be the answer to your fantasies. Popular wisdom says that women need long romantic sexual encounters everytime. As usual, popular wisdom is only somewhat right, but mostly wrong. Having your partner sweep you off your feet with his I-must-have-you-now passion is a turn-on all on its own.

Finding the right place for your passionate rendezvous is essential. Everyone has fantasies about ‘doing it’ somewhere illicit. Elevators, movie theaters and that supply closet at work are favorite fantasy hotspots. Sex in those places can be great, but remember originality is always a great turn-on. Here are some hot spots for a cool quickie between you and your lover.

#1 The library

This location is especially hot if your lover happens to be the librarian. One of the great things about libraries is that they have lots of nooks and crannies. Find one in a section where few people go and study a little biology. Standing up pressed against a wall or sturdy bookcase is the best position for library sex. Remember though, Shhh – people are trying to read.

#2 Changing room

Sex in a changing room is similar to sex in a bathroom, but with fewer smells, more room and a greater chance of getting caught. If done correctly, sex in a changing room can be a thrilling little treat and will make your man much more interested in shopping. Be sure to pick a store where the changing room has an actual door, not a curtain. Unless there is a little of the exhibitionist in you. If so, have at it!

#3 Public beach

There’s nothing cooler than some quick underwater sex on a hot summer day. Swim out far enough to be away from other people, but close enough to keep the life guard from noticing you. Some playful tickling and fondling on the way out can get you both in the mood. Once you find a good depth, push the swimsuits aside and go to town. Chances are, anyone seeing you will just think you’re making out.

#4 Tree house or snow fort

This one is mostly for couples with kids. Having sex in a space usually reserved for kids, adds a whole new level of excitement. Plan ahead and stash some blankets and pillows before luring your partner outside. Sex in a snow fort sounds like a chilly enterprise, but you’ll be surprised how fast you can generate enough body heat, especially with the right motivation.

#5 Roof

A curious thing about cities is that no one ever looks up. Everyone is in too big of a hurry to worry about what’s going on above them. If you live or work in a place with roof access, take the time to sneak away for some skyline action. Whether at night under the stars or during the day with the rushing sounds of urban life below, sex on the roof will give you a thrill to remember.

#6 Alley

A favorite fantasy spot for men, maybe not as popular with women, alley sex is doable if you scope things out ahead of time. If you want your wife or girlfriend to get excited about some risky back alley sex, pick a nice alley. Find someplace reasonably clean and free of vermin and people. Variations she might be into are a secluded parking lot or under a bridge. No woman who has seen the movie “Henry and June” will say no to sex under a bridge. For those couples who like it dirty, make the shower your next stop.

#7 Parents’ house

The ultimate in naughty sex spots whether you're a teen or a mature, sensible adult. The next time you are both bored at the family Thanksgiving dinner or Fourth of July picnic, whisper into your partner's ear, “Meet me in the laundry room in five minutes.” Be sure to lock the door and don’t make too much noise. Slip back out and enjoy the rest of the party.

Interview! Stefanie Iris Weiss Talks Making Sex Green

Here at GetLusty for Couples, we like to be positive influence on your relationships and sex life, but we're also into the whole "green" movement. What do sex and the environment have to do with each other? Well, if you use condoms, lubricant, or sex toys – then they have a lot to do with each other. The production of these kinds of items can be harsh on Mother Earth. Our Chief Lust Officer, Erica Grigg, talked with Stefanie Iris Weiss, of EcoSex.net, about "green" sex. Also, check out her Eco Sex book on Amazon!

* * *

#1 What are the basics of Eco-Sex?

Eco-Sex is a new way of raising consciousness about sexuality and its connection with the planet we share. In a world where we tend have more intimacy with our smartphones than our partners, the reminder to slow down and reengage with our sensual selves is mandatory. Eco-Sex teaches us that our bodies are sacred, and thus, we should not poison them. In both courtship and beyond, the do-it-yourself (DIY) tools, products, therapies in the Eco-Sex arena are safe, healthy, and good for the planet as well as our bodies. Raising our consciousness can raise our libido, and that's the happy end result of engaging in Eco-Sex.

#2 What got you into Eco-Sex advocacy?

In 2008 I started to realize that even my "greenest" friends were eco-conscious in every way, but not in their sex lives. I'd ask about lube, birth control and sex toys, and they hadn't even thought about what was in them. I realized that because we think of sexuality as something separate from ourselves, these needs were buried, hidden and obscured. It was embarrassing, even for my most progressive friends. I decided I needed to write a book to address that -- to bring two of my favorite topics, sex and sustainability, into the same space. That's how Eco-Sex: Go Green Between the Sheets and Make Your Love Life Sustainable (Crown Publishing/Ten Speed Press, 2010) came to be.

#3 What are your favorite sexy, "green" toys?

I'm obsessed with the mind-blowingly brilliant (and body-safe) toys from Jimmy Jane. All of their toys are gorgeous and free of toxins, and designed in-house by Ethan Imboden -- the man knows what he's doing. I've also been liking the offerings from Lelo lately.

#4 How are you spreading the word about Eco-sex?

I do workshops, talks, radio interviews, blogs and Tweet (I'm a pretty prolific tweeter). I write for Huffington Post (lately, political writing about the war on women and reproductive rights). I can be found online at ecosex.net, and my Twitter handle is @ecosexuality.

#5 For those looking to go "green", what adult retailers do you advocate for?

Big love to Babeland in NYC (and Seattle), Good Vibrations in San Francisco, and Smitten Kitten in the Midwest. Also the ever-lovely (and beautifully dirty) girls of Coco De Mer across the pond.

#7 Does only using eco-friendly products limit how much fun couples can have in the bedroom?

Absolutely not! That's the most beautiful benefit of Eco-Sex – it improves your sex life, heightens your libido, and can bring the spark back to couples whose bedrooms have become bastions of boredom. There's nothing like making organic massage oil together, experimenting with the wonders of coconut oil, tantra, etc.. Use your imagination.

#8 Besides being good to our mother earth, does eco sex have any benefits to our sexual or physical health?

Yes, it just makes you healthier. A big piece of Eco-Sex, and a chapter in the book, is dedicated to healthy eating. Vegan, raw, and sustainable aphrodisiacs bring a whole new dimension to one's sex life, but also helps you avoid obesity, diabetes, heart attacks, etc.. More energy is good for everything in life – not just sex.

Best of 2012! 5 Health Benefits of Orgasm

Since we got lots of love for this article, we're including it as a 2012 favorite!

Big, small, earth shattering: we love them all. I am talking about orgasms of course! Though Orgasm October is over, our whole team is thinking about orgasms. They make us feel amazing, relaxed, re-energized, happy, and sexy. Everyone loves an orgasm! Who doesn't? But, besides those awesome things, orgasms also have some great health benefits. Not only do they feel amazing but here are some ways they improve our health! Our Crimson Love reports.

* * *

Like you ever needed an excuse to want an orgasm? Well, now you do. Below are 5 reasons you must be having orgasms regularly. Whether it's with a partner or alone, orgasms are an excellent way to touch yourself or sex yourself healthy. Anyway you spin it, orgasms are great!

Without adieu, the 5 health benefits of orgasm:

#1 Heart health

When your man cums, take it! Swallowing semen is not only good for your teeth but it is also good for your heart. Semen helps keeps plaque levels low and rigorous sex is also a great cardio workout. Have more sex and more orgasms because it helps keep your heart strong and your teeth healthy.

#2 Stress relief

Ever notice how when you have that big "O" it feels like everything else that stresses you out just melts away? It's because of the chemicals that your brain releases, dopamine, oxytocin, and serotonin. They all give you happy, loving feelings. Sex for your stress, anyone?

#3 Pain relief

OK, so admittedly, we did just write an article about how sex can be painful. We hope this isn't the case. If you are experiencing pain in sex, do check out that article. However, if you're experiencing pain in different areas of your body, orgasm can really alleviate that pain.

How? Orgasm works similarly to stress relief when oxytocin, dopamine, and endorphins are released in the body. When these chemicals are released, they increase your tolerance to pain. So, that headache that you have can feel a little better after a nice romp. No more excuses.

#4 Orgasms fight cancer

Regular sexual activity is good for your sexual organs. Regular ejaculation helps keep prostate cancer away. Similarly, regular sexual activity and orgasm is good for the vagina because it helps to keep different uterine conditions at bay. Have more sex to keep your sexual organs healthy!

#5 Better sleep

After your orgasm, your body releases a cocktail of amazing chemicals. One of them is endorphins which not only makes you feel happy but can also have the effect of a sedative. More sex and orgasms for better sleep? Yes, please!

Having orgasms does wonders for the body and for your overall health. So, go ahead have some more.

With love from, GetLusty!

5 Relationship Tips Straight Couples Can Learn from Gay Couples

Here at GetLusty for Couples, we include all couples in our discussions, straight and gay. After all, there are few differences between straight and gay relationships, though there are also many similarities. We all share the same hardships and challenges. But--in fact, there's a thing or two straight couples could learn from gay couples. GetLusty for Couples writer, Monique Mitchell is here with some of her advice for the straight couples from the LGBTQ perspective.

* * *

Relationships can all be complicated. Difficult factors such as the lack of communication; infidelity issues; unrelated philosophies on life; and sexual incompatibility can turn a promising union to a crumbling disaster. However, according to various studies, sexual orientation may help a certain segment of the population have a greater hold on making a relationship work. In fact, here are five relationship tips that straight couples can learn from gay couples.

#1 Fight Fair

Reportedly, the amount of arguments that heterosexual couples and same-sex couples have are roughly the same. But, according to the Journal of Homosexuality, when same-sex couples argue they tend to make fewer verbal attacks and they try to defuse confrontation. Same-sex couples were also considered to be less likely to develop an elevated heartbeat and adrenaline surges during arguments. Conversely, straight couples were found to remain physically agitated after the conflict. With gay and lesbian couples, humor and affection was also stated to be used in order to allow each person to continue to talk about the issue instead of prolonging a heated argument. In addition, the journal's findings suggest that same-sex couples are better able to see the other person's point of view as well as pick the proper battles, which aids in maintaining a stronger relationship.

#2 Be Honest

Same-sex couples have the advantage in terms of honesty within their relationships. Straight men are more prone to lie about their commitment to a relationship as well as their possessions, while straight women lie to flatter a man's ego and to de-emphasize their interest in other men. Same-sex couples being more on the same wavelength, gender-wise, can make it more difficult to be deceitful regarding their motives.

#3 Don't Play the Guessing Game

Men, whether gay or straight, usually have stronger libidos than women. Comparatively, most women connect with their partners emotionally rather than sexually. The benefit of being in a relationship where both people either share sexual appetites or receive a satisfying amount of non-sexual intimacy is what helps place same-sex couples further ahead in relationships.

#4 Sex and Intimacy

In a 2011 Psychology Today article, it suggested that gay couples tend to have more sex than any other types of couples. And since women often value emotional intimacy, a lower sex drive is not usually a concern with lesbian couples. Gays and lesbians also talk more candidly about sex and monogamy, while heterosexual couples are more apprehensive when discussing sex. Frankness in a same-sex relationship sometimes can lead to a open relationship. Reportedly, men tend to compartmentalize sexual and emotional feelings. By going outside of the relationship, a gay couple with strong libidos can both accommodate their sexual desires. This type of an arrangement eliminates the threat that most other couples encounter in an unfaithful relationship.

#5 Share The Work

Equality in the home can help to reduce relationship conflict. Studies indicate that same-sex couples are more inclined to share household chores, since they are not forced into a particular role. Generally, women are expected to carry the brunt of the housework. And while two recent Norwegian studies entitled “The Study of Life Course, Generation and Gender” and "The Norwegian Life Course, Aging and Generations" indicated that seven out of ten Norwegian women were largely happy with being responsible for most of the housework, the study also stated that many of the women are older, and tend to be either unemployed or work part-time. Overall, most studies in other countries state that gender equality in the home makes couples happier, and can even lead to a more sex. By not having to do all, or the majority, of the housework, time can be freed up for intimacy and other forms of quality time.

As of January 2013, same-sex marriage will be recognized in nine states, in America. And more than 500,000 American couples are in same-sex relationships, per the Census Bureau's 2010 report. While the above factors have shown some of the advantages that same-sex couples may have over straight couples, all relationships face their share of issues. Still, the amount of communication, understanding and honesty in same-sex relationships can be a lesson to anyone who is trying to navigate their way through most relationship hurdles.

5 Must Try Holiday-Inspired Sex Experiences

It's the holidays. And what better time for some seasonally-inspired role play? Yes! For some reason Christmas seems like one the sexier holidays. Something about it, right? It just offers so much potential. We thought of some ideas. Then we asked our naughty wife correspondent, Marian Sanchez, to elaborate. And with a happy hand, Marian obliged! Curious on some ideas to spice up the holiday season with some kink ideas? What better time than Freaky Friday? Marian offers up 5 steamy ideas for a lusty Christmas.

* * *

'Tis the season to break out of the familiar routine and add some holiday festivities to your sex life. This article is for those curious in pushing their sexual boundaries with their spouse or significant other. The most important thing in getting what you want (for the holidays) or any other time is making time to sit and talk with your loved one. Understanding comfort levels is paramount when it comes to more adventurous sex. Now with all that said, here are five of my Christmas sex experiences you should try.

#1 Wrap Him Up in a Big Red Bow

This holiday season take (or make) present wrapping to a whole new level with some white-hot bondage. Things don't have to get complicated in order for you both to enjoy the new experience. Using everyday wardrobe items (scarves, neck ties and so forth) or pleasure cuffs. (Rope for the real bondage experience, satin ribbon for a romantic take on being held captive by your lover.)

Bondage is simply the art and craft of using restraints against the one being submissive. The dominating partner takes charge in all the sexual situations. So for those of you interested in a role change in the bedroom, holding your hubby captive is a great way to start any evening's escapades. Unsure where or how to begin? Just imagine surprising your hubby after he got home from a long day, finding you dressed in beautiful lingerie.

Once he catches sight of you disappearing from his line of sight with that look in your eye, he will follow you where ever you go. Sit him down in a chair, tie his hands behind his back, and his ankles to the legs of the chair. Or you can make him lay in the bed and cuff his arms to the headboard. Now he is all bound up and at your mercy. This is your time to tease, taunt, and make him yours all night long.

#2 The More the Merrier

Lets say you two are an open-minded adventurous couple that always plays well with others. Why not invite another person to your XXXmas party? Maybe your wife wants to experience being with another woman? Or maybe the boyfriend wants a second couple in the bedroom to play girlfriend swap? Want to give a super sexy gift? Give the gift of you and your sexy playmate, in little red bow panties to your boyfriend or husband this year! Not only will you feel like you are on the set of your very own porn, but fantasies will be made real! This is one experience the two of you will never forget.

#3 Run Away to a Winter Wonderland

For some people the holidays run you down and you get a little stifled in the usual holiday routine – visiting family, seeing friends, buying gifts and so forth. Well, why not get away this year! (It's not too late) If you both feel a little rusty, a long romantic weekend will do wonders for you both. You could run away to a nice hotel or cabin in a snowy destination.

The main focus here is spending time with your loved ones and understanding the need for a change of scenery. While you are away from home, this would be the time to let go of inhibitions and reconnecting as a couple. Give a sexy gift and incorporate a new toy, or take your sexual act outside into a hot tub and don't be timid with your voice.

#4 Holiday Hanky-Panky

Did you get invited to a holiday party? Is the after dinner conversation in the living room getting humdrum while your drink gets warm? Do you feel the impulse of trying something a little risque? Excuse yourself and take your partner away for a rendezvous in the guest bathroom. Yes you read that right. Go make that holiday cheer!

The truth is, great sex comes from spontaneity and when it comes to the holidays, they are notorious for zapping your energy. I know your thinking, "I might be too tired" or "What if I get caught?" Having sex when you least anticipate it often the most exciting. Also, there is risk in everything you do, but the outcome is worth it, especially if you need to reconnect with your partner.

#5 I caught Santa Sleighing Mrs. Claus

Santa knows you've been a good boy/girl this year and he's got the tape to prove it. I know plenty of couples who were hesitant about making a sex tape but there is an upside to doing something so taboo. It's a very sensual experience! Sex is and always will be an amazing expression and the way I see it, filming yourselves together is like taking a picture of an extraordinary scene during your everyday life. You are going to have those moments forever.

Want to give your sex tape a holiday infusion? Dress up in a red negligee and give your partner a Santa hat and robe. Then, using euphemisms to describe him and his cock, begin to "unwrap" the best present of all. Get ready Mrs. Claus, Santa's about ready to come down your chimney tonight.

This holiday season, sex is the gift that keeps on giving. If you have other XXXmas inspired ideas, please share them in the comments below.

5 Rules for Mixing Food & Sex

Glorious, glorious food! And mixing them--it can be so lovely! But are there limits? Is there a way to make it super hot and actually possible at the same time? Yes, indeed there are! Think about it. Remember the refrigerator scene from 9 1/2 Weeks? That was hot! Our resident sexual adventurer and writer, Lynn Olejniczak, is back with her top recommendations on ways to get hot and steamy with sultry food play.

* * *

It sounds like such a great idea. Your favorite person in the bedroom and your favorite food from the kitchen. What could go wrong? Unfortunately, plenty. But before you put the whipped cream back in the fridge, let’s go over that food pyramid. After all, there are some things that just shouldn’t be on the menu.

Not hot enough to burn

It sounds nice – drizzling warm chocolate, honey, or caramel over your lover’s body parts and licking it off but you have to take caution. Chances are this idea is going to pop into your head quickly. You are going to run to the microwave and zap the viscous fluid for 60 seconds, and run back to pour it onto your partner. Not a good idea. Microwaves cook at different temperatures and have hot spots. What may feel comfortable on the liquid’s surface could very well be hot lava below. Even worse, sticky foods stick. If it is too hot it will stick and burn. It will only take 5 seconds for something at 140ºF to cause a 3rd degree burn. That isn’t sexy, or fun.

If you want to incorporate hot fudge into your play you should heat it indirectly. Put it in a container and then put the container into warm water. Yes this will take longer but it is better than sitting in the emergency room with a burning crotch. How do you dress for that trip?

Watch the salt

Barbeque sauce, ketchup, marinara, hot sauce; some people wouldn’t think of bringing these into the bedroom, but other people look at it as a feast! These condiments have a crazy amount of salt. I’m not here to tell you to watch your diet but to watch where you put these things. If your partner just shaved, had a wax, or has a small cut where you want to spread this on it, the screaming you hear may be for all the wrong reasons.

Salt in a wound dissolves. The body’s receptors don’t like that and the wound tissue reacts by becoming hypertonic. This is where the pain comes from. Capsaicin in hot sauce will do the same thing. Even if you don’t have a wound, be careful not to rub your eyes or touch your partner’s face when going hot and salty.

If you want to go this route have water close by (just in case) and find out when your partner last shaved or waxed before applying. Use it a little at a time as opposed to covering a larger area, and I would probably think twice before heating salty things up.

Eating

Food is yummy. But if you want to eat something off of, or out of, your lover try to keep track of it. Obviously temperature and salt content still applies but say you want to spread strawberry preserves between your lover’s thighs and lick it out. Sounds great, but if you can’t get it all out make sure she can. Nothing is worse than getting something stuck inside of you. Diaphragms, the sponge, tampons have a string, band, or lip to grab for removal. That piece of melon does not. Douching offers no guarantee for removal either.

A good rule to follow is to make sure whatever you spread or insert is water soluble or pretty close to it. Make sure you can see everything you are using and remember if you push it too far with your tongue you might have a problem. Gravity could be helpful if something gets “lost” but if you can’t seem to recover that honey dew, get to the E.R.. You’re probably not the first person they have seen in this situation.

Time

Food begins its degeneration, or spoiling process once it is no longer refrigerated. This goes for lettuce as well as meat. Not that you are reaching for radicchio when you want to get it on. Or maybe you are, who am I to judge? Point is - fruits and veggies can spoil and cause food poisoning. Often this will come from pathogens being transferred to the food from a knife or other utensil, so be sure everything you use is clean. But keep an eye on your watch. Most doctors will agree that anything left out after two hours has the potential for more harm than good.

So about that meal you began before you lost control of yourself, and skipped straight to "dessert". If your love making lasted two hours or so, that filet mignon is toast. You’re better off clearing the dishes and ordering in. This goes for the brie and fig jam from your holiday buffet table after the guests have gone home. And yes, you have to dump the fresh whipped cream you put out at the coffee station. Sorry.

Mess

Finding a lost earring between the bed and the headboard weeks after you thought it was gone forever is a bonus. It will probably also trigger some pretty happy memories. Yea! Good for you. Finding a shmear of cream cheese at the foot of the bed days after playing deli-guy-and-out-of-towner is just gross. If you are going to use food just clean up afterwards. If this is something you like to do on a regular basis, maybe have a special set of sheets for the occasion. It is a lot easier to just change the sheets and deal with washing them tomorrow than finding an unpleasant surprise later.

Finding pleasure in foodplay is easy. You also won’t be faced with belly regrets or weird E.R. looks if you are smart about it. There is a bonus here too. When it comes time to clean up you don’t have to do it alone. I’m sure that shower has enough room for both of you. Second course, anyone?

Make Shower Sex Less Awkward

Sex in the shower is sort of like pizza in bed. A great idea that inevitably leads to disaster. Issues like space, how to position one's body, how to avoid broken appendages. It becomes too much to bear and the idea gets abandoned. But there has to be a way to have your pizza and eat it too and our researchers are working around the clock to find a way. In a series with long time friends and sex advisors Eli and Josie, they talk about how to maximize the pleasures of shower sex as well as instructions on what positions best fit what ever type of shower you may have.

* * *

Dear Sexes: Is there a trick I’m missing with shower sex? I mean, it’s WAY hot, but it seems like my only options are (1) in a corner getting leg cramps, or (2) on my knees, which hurts like hell on my knee caps with the tough plastic that the shower is made of. Is this a “try it 'til you figure it out” thing, or a mythical movie type of sex?

She Said: Shower sex doesn’t always create the best scenario for optimum sexual pleasure. But you’re right that it’s hot: the water, the soap, the wet hair, the slippery skin—not to mention the naughty factor that goes along with sex anywhere other than a bed.

However, there are ways to maximize the shower-sex pleasure. One key tool for great shower sex is a set of extra-cushy washcloths. For doggie-style, fold each washcloth in half and put them under your knees. If someone’s sitting on the floor of the shower, a washcloth under the bum can help a lot, too. The washcloths are also crucial for the knees of whomever is the giver of oral sex in the shower. A fun way to have sex in the shower, if you have the room, is to lie down on your back and put your partner on top. Then she can arch her back into the spray of water and you both have easy clitoral access.

Sometimes shower sex is best left short and sweet by making it a quickie or by starting the interlude in the shower, to be continued elsewhere. Try to draw out the foreplay as long as possible (but keep in mind, we’re in a water drought!) by soaping each other up, sliding slippery fingers across each other’s bodies, using the hand-held shower head on each other’s favorite spots, and giving oral sex. Then, just as you’re feeling like you’re about to die if you don’t complete the act, wrap up in towels (don’t worry about drying all the way off, stay wet!) and move to the bed. You’ll be clawing at each other from all the lead-up and you can utilize all the best in-bed positions.

He Said: Agreed! Shower sex is hot! It’s always fun to clean up and get dirty at the same time. Of course, the amount of positions you can try out is somewhat dependent on the type of shower you have. If you have a small, stand-up shower (no bath), your space is probably limited. However, you can actually use the lack of space to your benefit. Position yourself or your mate against the shower walls for extra good pushing/friction. The tiny confines also make for a good opportunity to get a leg high up in the air (resting against a wall, while your hands, or your mate, keep you upright, steadying against an opposite wall).

If you have a full shower (with bath), you really have no excuse NOT to explore all possibilities. You’ve got the room, so you’re as free as your imagination allows. And if you have sensitive knee caps, don’t be afraid to squat it out. Also, don’t forget to use plenty of lube as need be. The water actually detracts from the body’s natural lubrication. And please, no falling! We don’t want any slips causing death by shower sex.

Josie is a writer living in Los Angeles. Though she has a tight circle of female friends, she's always bee a guy's gal. This advice column came about because her best girls kept begging her to ask her guy friends for sex and dating advice on their behalf. She realized that the advice they offered was honest and direct-and completely different than the advice women offered each other.

Eli is an indie-rock musician living in New York City. He loves his football and hockey as much as the next red-blooded male. But when it comes to relationships and love, he's really a true romantic. His friends (female and male) are always asking him for his dating/relationship advice due to his genuine caring, perceptiveness, and honesty. He always calls it like sees it, and usually sees it very well.

His 10 Erogenous Zones You Should Know

We all have those places where we love being touched. Those places where, if your man touches you, it send chills running down your back. Those are your erogenous zones! You get goose bumps and makes you, dare I say, moist. Your man has those special spots, too. Want to start of your sexual session a little slower? Touch, massage or gently rub these erogenous zones! It makes your sexual experience longer and more wonderful to say the least. Our Crimson Love reports.

* * *

#1 Neck & shoulders

Men love to have their necks kissed, licked, sucked, touched and rubbed. Why? The skin on the neck, collar bone and the back of the neck are very sensitive. The neck is most definitely an erogenous zone. The lightest touch can awaken his body and his sexual desires. Surprisingly or unsurprisingly, the neck is an excellent place to start in making him beg for your love.

#2 Fingers

Surprised? Don't be! The fingers, especially the finger tips, have a high sensitivity due to a high concentration of nerves. Next time you're feeling frisky, take your mans hand, nibble on his finger tips, let your teeth graze the pads of his fingers, gently lick them and see where it gets you.

#3 Inner thighs

The inner thigh, even though it tends to be a bit fleshy will have him at your mercy. Light butterfly kisses, soft caresses and licks will have him pitching a tent with some premium wood in no time. Though his inner thighs might be slightly hairy, they're still super sensitive and even a bit ticklish.

#4 Tailbone/spine

Oh yes, ladies. Take in all of the delicious soft moans your man will make when you release your touches and caresses on his lower back. The spine and tail bone are composed of bundles of nerves and when lightly caressed, licked, or kissed will send pleasure coursing through your mans' body.

#5 Lips

Yes this is obvious but let's not neglect it. Your man needs and loves to be kissed. The Lips are one of the most sensitive parts of the human body. Do you ever pay close attention to your man when you kiss him? Next time pay really close attention to how his body reacts and you will realize that that kiss does more than just make his lips moist. Nibble, suck, lick and bite away!

#6 Abdomen

You know how good it feels when you rub your tummy? Well imagine how good it feels to your man when you kiss, lick and nibble his. It's a very sensitive area, especially when your move lower towards the groin. Starting at the top and working your way to the bottom. By the time you meet his dick, he may already even be hard. But no rush, it's not about his dick right now. Waiting to great his genitals makes it all the more loving and intimate.

#7 Ears

Why are ears erogenous? The outer ear contains thousands of nerve endings, many of them concentrated on the ear lobe. For this reason, the ear is an erogenous zone for many people. Want to get sexy? Try this move on for size! While you're sitting and watching a movie or TV, caress and massage his ears or nibble and lick them. This will not only relax him, but get him in the mood for some serious play time.

#8 Forearms

Why you ask? Think about the last time you got goosebumps? You felt them especially on the hairs of your arms. Massaging or just touching gently this forearm area will get that same effect. Want to try it out? Gently rub the softer skin on the underside of his arm. He may even get goosebumps and chills, not to mention it sends clear messages of your "loving" intentions.

#9 Mind

You can metaphorically connect with your partner with your amazing intelligence and wit! The brain is the largest sex organ and most multifunctional. Play a sexy game with your partner all day, sending naughty text messages and e-mails. When you get home that night have something sexy and surprising prepared, you will be sure to blow his mind!

#10 Scalp/ head

If your man is in the shower, offer to wash his hair and massage his scalp for him. I guarantee your naked body won't be the only thing he is standing at attention for. There are even certain ways to massage his head before, during or after sex. What? You're massaging him after sex!? You're such a good lover! That will definitely earn you brownie points.

Female Orgasm: True or False?

Orgasm is the ultimate in sexual enjoyment. Sometimes we think it's the be-all and end-all of sex. While it's enjoyable, it's not necessary to orgasm every time. At GetLusty, we think sex is about pleasuring yourself and your partner. Orgasm can be an excellent release, so we wanted to share information about it. We'll start with the female orgasm. This is a guest post by Searah Deysach, owner of Early to Bed. Early to Bed is one of the foremost women-owned sex toy stores in Chicago. Over the next several months, GetLusty will help organize several awesome upcoming events there.

* * *

Wondering whether your lady has had an orgasm? Here are some truths and false statements about the female orgasm.

Vaginas get wet when a woman is turned on.

TRUE

Except for when that isn’t true. Women can be turned on and not get super wet, women can get wet and not be super turned on. So while the conventional wisdom is that wetness = sexually aroused, that equation is not 100% accurate all the time. Remember that this does not mean that wetness is considered a sign that a woman has had an orgasm.

There is one way to “give” a woman an orgasm.

FALSE

Every single woman on the planet is different and responds to sexual stimulation in her own way. There is not a guaranteed toy, trick, gel, drink, herb, patch or technique that will work for each woman. It is TRUE that a majority of women like/need direct clitoral stimulation to have an orgasm, but the actual type of stimulation varies and is not necessary for every woman.

Female ejaculation is real.

TRUE

Yes, female ejaculation is real and women can ejaculate when having an orgasm, but LOTS of women have fantastic orgasms without ejaculating.

There is one way to know a woman has had an orgasm.

FALSE

The only real way to know is to have you partner tell you that she has. Some women make loud guttural noises, and some are quiet and silent when they climax. Some squeak. Some laugh. Some cry. Some yell. Some just smile.

And yes, some even lie about it. You will never truly know if your partner has had an orgasm unless she tells you. And she might not do that unless you ask her.

I suggest not jumping in right after you come and saying, “Did you come huh, huh? Did you have an orgasm?” Instead, maybe ask her gently something to the effect, “Was that nice? Do you want a little more attention anywhere? Can I keep pleasuring you?” Alternatively, ask her when you are not in the sack, “Soooooo.. I was just wondering cause I can’t really tell from your body language, but do you have orgasms when you have sex/fuck/make love?”

I know that can be an awkward question, but if you really can’t tell if she is having an orgasm, it's actually a really nice thing to do. And if her answer is, “No. I don’t," then a great follow up question is, “Oh, sorry... What can I do to help that happen for you?”.

Conclusion

Talk to your partner about sex! Be a generous lover and communicate your desires, questions and needs. And women - tell your partners what is going with your body. It is hot and people like knowing you are feeling good when they touch/stroke/tickle/fondle you right there.

How to Get What You Want Sexually

GetLusty loves to speak our minds, especially with our lovers and partners. Feeling confident enough to tell your lover just what you want in and out of the bedroom can be life changing. Seriously. Expressing yourself can really improve your love life. Communicating clearly about your sexual desires also brings you and your partner closer intimately. Portia Blush is here with a personal take on how to ask for what you want (in this case anal) in bed.

* * *

Have you ever had a lover say, “Tell me what you want,” while you were in bed? You could also be wherever you might find yourself naked and sexually entangled together. Alternatively, have you, yourself, asked this very question of a lover?

Here I am, lucky enough to learn the in's and out's of my sexuality fairly thoroughly. I know what makes me tick, tock, and even KABOOM. As I explored along the way, I learned how to be comfortable enough with myself and my lover/s to ask for what I wanted. It’s not an easy task to say the least, and it took time. It takes a real level of vulnerability that a lot of people just aren’t able to access. However, look at the other choice! Amassing a collection of unsatisfying experiences? No, no. But, hey, we’ve all had those. So after awhile, you just have to take that bull of sex by its horns.

Get vulnerable

Knowledge is power, right? But what if you ask for something that maybe the other person isn’t expecting to hear? What if you ask for something that they’re just not into?

I have been lovers with a friend on and off for the better part of 17 years. He’s known me since before I even knew what an orgasm with a partner was. The key words there being “with a partner”.

We were together when my “sexploration” was all new and shiny, and for the most part, uncharted territory. It's fairly safe to say that he came into my life just as I was about to embark on figuring out just who I was as a sexual creature. In fact, I had my very first threesome and my very first experience with a female lover, with him. Ah, the memories.

Now, our sexual escapades together have been fairly low key as far as I’m concerned. Stop laughing. The threesome I mentioned is mild compared to the meat of the journey. Really, in truth, we’ve been fairly standard fare lovers with each other from that time out, in light of where I explored without him. Recently, he asked me “Tell me what you want. Tell me what to do.” And then it happened; that awkward moment when I wished, in a moment of self-consciousness, that I could take my answer back.

I went out on a limb

“Do you like anal?”, I queried. Silence. "With the right person, and in the right moment," he answered. We have not spoken of it since. And I knew the answer, which really is a “No”, before I even asked him. I was caught in this moment that sounded like this in my head, “Oh, uh yeah, me either, just kidding.” I knew that, because in all 17+ years of being lovers with him, he’s never “made a move”, nor implied in conversation, that he would like to add that to our sexual menu. I, being the explorer, went out on a limb.

So, there is this stereotype that all men are just longing for the “so taboo” anal sex experience. As the stereotype goes, men are always finding their female partners to be completely reluctant.

If not totally against the idea of anything, even remotely, nudging the puckered pink door of nether-regions. And here I am, the apparent female sexual anomaly. I love anal sex, now feeling more than mildly embarrassed for feeling that way.

I got embarrassed

OK, I get it. Even I am picky about the circumstances of playing anally, but really, suddenly I was having this total feeling of school-girl embarrassment come over me, that I had not experienced in a long time. And it’s not like we were new lovers, we had a rich sexual relationship. The question here being more, “Why am I now embarrassed?”, more so than, “Why doesn’t he want to?”. Because honestly, we all have those things that trip our triggers. While that might be high on my list, it doesn’t mean it will be even be a blip on his radar.

Prepare for surprise, but do it anyway

Stereotypes may have some truth, but are not an across the board rule book, and that goes both ways. There are men that love anal, men that don’t, women that love anal, and women that will strangle the shit out of you if you even dare think about trying it. I am one of those rare exceptions, and I love it! So, my intrepid sexplorers, remember this; “Tell me what you want”, is as difficult a question to answer, as it is to ask. Have some respect for the vulnerability that it takes to answer, just as you would like for having done the asking. And always, prepare to be surprised.

5 Ways to Make Kitchen Sex Extra Fabulous

It's Naked November, so we've been thinking about nakedness a lot. And since naked dates can lead to naked sex, how about some kitchen sex ideas? Sex in your apartment or living space can feel a little stale. Not with GetLusty. We're all about exploring, experimenting and trying different activities to spice things up! GetLusty's food and sex lover, Crimson Love, is here to help you sexplore your apartment. Here, we'll re-discover the joys of sex. We love apartment sex! This is part of our series on sex in different (maybe surprising places). Past articles include, 13 fun places to have apartment sex? And 5 surprising places in your apartment to make sex amazing again. So go ahead, have sex again--in every. Single. Room!

* * *

A hotbed of sensual possibility, the kitchen is not just about counter tops. Well, it’s mostly about counter tops. And maybe a little bit about the sink - especially if you’re lucky enough to possess one of those tingle-inducing faucets with the multi-speed, detachable head...

#1 Use those counter tops

Height and surface area are your first and best allies in the kitchen. The penetrating partner of suitable height can achieve amazing depth when entering a counter-perched lover. Always make sure it's stable before going harder and deeper, like I know many of you love. Sitting spread-eagle, or bent at the waist, also provides: 1. A really hot visual. 2. The perfect position for your partner to grab you by the hips and pull you even closer.

Bonus: a center island. Height, surface area and 360 access? Drawers for leverage and adapted toys (see #3 below)? The opportunity, should you find yourself feeling impulsive, to sweep the whole lot of newspapers, unopened mail and coffee mugs to the floor in a sexy, theatrical flourish? You’ve got it made.

#2 Orgasm on the cupboards? Yes, please!

Cupboards are for bracing yourself, aiding momentum, slamming dramatically at the height of orgasm and foraging in afterward to get your strength back up. Do the doors have handles? Why not use scarves to bind your lover while you try #3.

#3 Get kinky with kitchen utensils!

A swat with a spatula. A pastry brush over nipples. The convex sides of spoons warmed in palms, between legs. The sting of whisks. Open the drawers and get creative. Wash it well before and after: you’re in the kitchen, for goodness sake! However, there are several things to watch. Stay away from: microwaves (unless you’re heating up one of those lovely glass dildos), blenders, knives; frankly anything that is too sharp, too hot or too motorized.

#4 Food & sex? Oh my!

If you’re into food and sex, or properly washedand chilled insertable materials, the ‘fridge is your best kitchen-lust ally. Stock up!

Bonus: an in-door ice maker. Good for nipples, clits and penises; the cold can be too intense for some. Be careful, however, of popping one in your mouth and attempting head: there's a high risk of the bad sort of choking. Though, possibly not as bad as these other blowjob mistakes. In addition, the refrigerator can be used as a (fairly) sturdy base to be shoved up against. Provided you don’t mind knocking off commemorative magnets, grocery lists or that one really stunning vacation photo you took a few years ago (wink).

#5 The Floor

How can you enjoy a good, old-fashioned shag, minus the dirty floor? Some of you may not mind writhing in a little grit. Those who do: why not stash a spare sheet in a convenient spot, like between that once-used popcorn popper and the never-used snow cone maker? If your linen closet is within don’t-break-the-spell distance, grab a few towels: they can be used to mop up come afterward (wink).

Lastly, since you've been on every surface, possibly eaten, possibly inserted various objects or swept mail and mugs to the floor in a fit of lust: clean up! Clean yourselves, clean the space and stay tuned for the next installment of great apartment sex.

"Wired for Love" is a complete insider's guide to understanding a partner's brain and promoting love and trust within a romantic relationship. #4 The Sex-Starved Marriage: Boosting Your Marriage Libido: A Couple's Guide
Author: Michele Weiner-Davis

According to Amazon: 'The Sex-Starved Marriage' offers candid and sensible counsel for couples with mismatched libidos. Seasoned sex therapist Michele Weiner-Davis skewers two stereotypes about sex in marriage. First, she jettisons the idea that husbands are hot and wives are not, giving examples of "low-desire" men in her practice.

Next, she upends the longstanding model of sexual response and advises readers: "Just do it. Desire is a decision. Once the low-interest partner allows him/herself to be touched and aroused, this will trigger a strong desire to continue being sexual." The strength of her approach to the causes of sexual stalemate lies in her insights about the struggles of both partners. Her suggestions (how to break the ice, how to court your partner, nag busting, and the Hallmark solution) are not gimmicky and are presented as techniques for couples, not individuals."

#5 Marriage Rules: A Manual for the Married and the Coupled Up

Read it for your own relationship and give it to every newlywed you know." William J. Doherty, Ph.D., professor at the University of Minnesota and author of "Take Back Your Marriage"
